Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering is a four-year (eight semesters) academic program designed to produce competent engineers who can meet the evolving demands of technology and innovation. It combines core elements of electrical engineering and computer science to develop both hardware and software systems. This program focuses on areas such as programming, algorithm design, computer architecture, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, and networking.
With the growing digital transformation in all sectors — including education, healthcare, finance, communication, and governance — the demand for skilled computer engineers has increased significantly. In Nepal, the increasing use of technology in both public and private sectors calls for professionals capable of designing efficient systems, developing intelligent applications, and ensuring digital security. From building scalable web platforms to developing automation systems, Computer Engineering has become one of the most impactful disciplines of the modern era.
This program not only offers strong theoretical foundations but also emphasizes practical skills through lab work, projects, internships, and industry collaborations. It prepares students to become adaptive problem-solvers and innovative contributors in the tech-driven world.
Total intake capacity of this programme is 48.
Computer Engineering graduates have vast career opportunities in both national and international markets, working across a range of industries. They can work as:
This degree offers a solid foundation for pursuing further studies or entering the global tech industry with confidence and innovation.
